great DIY. I've done it 3 days ago, and there is big improvement. (150k km) My shifter was low on urea grease, and it was all black.

After i regreased it and change the plastic bits, it feels like i'm playing with clitoris

Just did mine too, also at 150k km. Big difference in shift feel, I also replaced the insulation (expensive!) I don't think it made much of a difference.
