Replaced Diff under Warrenty? - PLEASE READ!!!
I had the hubs replaced but it didn't fix the clicking, it ended up being the inner cv joints.
I've also had my diff replaced. Apparently this car wasn't built to be driven as hard as an accord, prelude, cavalier Z24, MR2 or Sentra.

Wow, thread from the past.
In short:
New Kazz 1.5 Diff
Comptech Housing
J's Racing 4.44 Gears
All cryogenically treated
Lots of $$$ and headache.
Much love to the Honda engineers.
No problems since the upgrades and has been a while a now.

I grenaded mine. The bearing caps are the weakest part of the assembly. I overhauled it and reinforced the housing and have not had any problems for 2000 miles now. Honda claimed the car was abused. But I heard the same noises 3 days before it broke on the highway. Maybe just a coincidence that I was picking the car up from the TSB clutch replacement, Nevertheless, the ticking sound was prevelant. Good luck, I paid out the pocket, but now it's better than ever.
