Replacing ECU
Hi, i am a new member and looking for some help here on replacing ecu. i am planning to put in a 03 ecu to my 00 s2000. i have read some posts in the forum ,and noticed that i need to take my car back to the dealer to get a new key. i was just wondering if that means replacing the immobiliser ? and not the key ?
so if i am not using the stock alarm&immobiliser, i do not need to go back to the dealer ?
thanks ! sorry if i asked a stupid question, i am a newbie to this.

you need the vin# from the new ecu, then take your car to honda with your new pcm and all your keys your your S and they can do it there. cost like $150, just had mine done.
