Hi
The keys have to be programmed at the dealership level. This is because your car has an immobalizer system. The key does not really get learned to the ecu it gets issued to the immobalizer ring. If you could program it yourself then it would be that easy to steal your car. Take all your keys to the dealership and they will contact Honda USA or Honda Canada for what is best termed as a rolling code. This code is then entered into the PGMFI tester and then the learning process is put into each microchip in your key. This should not cost you anymore than .6 to 1 hour labour. Just don't loose a key as then they get expensive. Thanks---Westwood Honda Greg
