Default Rev cut!

Hey guys I recently went to a track day and my car was behaving really weird.

On certain corners, only in second gear this happens, then I turn, the car feels like it stops revving, like I'm getting towards the corner exit start to step on it car revs up to about 6700rpm then it stops revving feels like fuelcut, for about 1 second then it goes again, totally freaks me out! I thought maybe I didn't have enough fuel since it started happening towards the end of the track day after I had less then half a tank of fuel. But it wasn't I checked my oil levels once I got home they were enough as well I'm not sure what the problem is, anyone have something similar? Only happens in second gear but.

Oh and today on the way home I decided to take a corner abit hard and the same thing happened... Abit worried here, its a 99 ap1 btw.

He said oil was ok. My guess would be the map sensor. I had what sounds like the same thing happen. I took my map sensor off, cleaned it and made sure there wasnt any dirt around where it is attached, and havent had a problem in over a year.

Well on the track day it was about 40degrees Celsius which is about 104degrees Fahrenheit so it was pretty hot and I had a stock airbox back then. Last night when it happened it was my J's racing intake and it was at night so it wasn't hot, I'm still on the R compound tyres, which i will take off soon does this mean I might need a Baffled sump?
