Robbins top includes straps?
Hey folks,
I've used Modrify Straps for years. I just purchased a new Robbins top.
I was curious if the Robbins top includes the equivalent to the Modifry straps, or should I order those separately and put new ones in while I install the new strap?
Convertible Top Fix
Thanks!

Aftermarket tops don't replace *all* of the straps, tension cables, or springs, for example. I was just wondering if the equivalent of the Modifry one is included...
Anyone else with first-hand experience on a DIY top replacement have any ideas?

I replaced my soft top about year ago. I bought it from ebay and it was probably made by E-Z ON. It didn't include straps you are talking about. If the straps are in good condition I won't suggest to replace them.
Here is good explanation what happens when straps are not ok:

The Robbins top I installed a year ago included straps. This DIY says the tops don't always come with straps, but mine did:

Mine came with straps but I put the modifry ones on anyway.
2 years later and they're still tight.

Thanks folks.
Y'all have any additional recommendations for making the new top last longer and avoiding the holes/tears and common wear areas?
Are there any protective measures I can do above/beyond sanding down the burrs in this TSB?

Help the top go up when it's first going up, that'll prevent tears and prevent the straps from wearing prematurely, also you can push the bar the straps attach as the top is retracting.
