I've got about 128k on my '01. Runs, drives, and handles better than any car I've owned. I bought it with kinda high miles, but I wasn't worried...I've owned civics and preludes all my life.
I don't know how some of you guys keep the miles off.

I would have to say the 2.2 is a bit more reliable.
No oil consumption issues
No broken/cracked valve retainers (beeifer valvetrain)
stronger rear diff
revised tranny
on my 2.2 my oil is bearly even dirty @ 4k mile oil changes interval.
