Default S2000 EPS ? AP1-AP2

do the steering racks stay the same throughout our production or is there a difference between ap1 and ap2 steering racks?

AP2 rack is a slower steering ratio. The control unit must match. you cannot use an AP2 control unit on your AP1 rack.

I'm not sure if you can plug and play both into a different car, but i'm pretty sure its possible.

why can you not use an ap2 control unit on a ap1 rack? my ap1 control unit was giving me grief in my ap1, switched to the ap2 unit and no shaking on idle or anything? have not driven the car yet, but is this a bad idea?

steering feels lighter bud like normal (or when the car was younger, less miles.)

before it would do that shaking business, bud ill jack my car up (front) and see if turning the rack i can find any hard spots)
