"Sometimes shifting through the gears will start it."

Do you mean that if you run the shifter through the gears, with car off, this will sometimes help start the car? Maybe, you have a loose ground connection somewhere on the engine or frame. And giggling the shifter helps that poor connection, somehow.

like if i shift through the gears or wiggle it in neutral while im pressing the starter button that'll do the trick but its apt a 50/50 chance i found that leaving it in first when its parked helped for a while but now its back to the same old

When you are wiggling the shifter in neutral, is the clutch pedal being pressed in? Maybe, the clutch pedal interlock-actuator button is making a poor contact?

There are no electronics in the transmission that affect the car’s ability to start. Shifting and wiggling causing it to sometimes start is pure coincidence.

Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of your battery. Next, measure it when someone is cranking it. What are the values?
