Shifting through gears with car off?
i agree - you have nothing to worry about
i dont see how pushing the clutch will make a difference since the engine is off, but there is no splash lubrication since nothing is spinning in the trans, so id think gear shifting would eventually remove the oil film the synchros (and whatever else) and cause wear

the synchros help move into gear while there is load...there's no load so the synchros are not wearing at all
and it isnt hard becoming ASE certified.. its like getting a bartender certificate... doesnt mean anything...

kind of off-topic but how bad/detrimental can grinding a gear be? last week i didn't have the clutch pushed all the way(completey my fault) and grinded 2nd gear, but the rpm was very low. any damage done or shrapnel in my transmission fluid now?
