Default Skunk2 throttle body sticking

Recently installed my brand new 74mm Skunk2 tb that I purchased a few months ago. The car drove fine for about 100 miles and would randomly stick in certain spots causing the car to jerk in and out of throttle. It would sometimes die aswell if stopped at a red light. Today after trying my stock tb and swapping back, it ran for a bit and start it again. I've adjusted the two adjustment screws to try fine tuning it but didn't work either. I emailed skunk2 about the issue at 8am this morning and haven't received a reply yet. I'm eager to scuff some material off the plate or tb with some fine sand paper or Scotch Brite.

Anyone else have this issue? We're you able to fix it or get it replaced?

Thanks

I've had that issue with every bored out or aftermarket throttle body that I've used. I always got it corrected by raising/extending the throttle stop screw so the plate doesn't close so tightly into the bore. I assume the skunk2 TB has one, but I've never looked at that product. I have the J's Racing TB which uses the oem throttle stop screw. If yours has the throttle stop screw keep extending it in short adjustments until you no longer feel the throttle plate sticking in the bore.

I've adjusted that screw a bunch of times already. I just have to talk to skunk2 but I may try exchanging and if the problem persist, I'll try the sos tb

Ok so here's a weird update. I decided that since I will have to return the throttle body, I'd make a new gasket and throw my stock tb back on. So I did that. Didn't bother cleaning it out assuming it would work just like it did on my old motor. The oem tb started doing the same thing and also idles anywhere from 800rpms down to like 400. I figured I would post this hoping to get some ideas how fix it. I'm going to clean the tb and update you guys. Also is it possible for a dirty air filter to cause this?

Thanks

Oh and I have a full blown intake manifold if that helps

I'm gonna try whack in it a bit today but can I use a can of compressed air or even brake clean INSIDE the actual sensor? I sprayed the passage down and it seemed to help a little bit but the problem is still there. It's a SOS 3 bar btw. Currently running in on my NA motor for the first couple miles before I slap on the charger.

It was the 3 bar sensor. I just tried a 4 bar hondata sensor and the problem seems to be gone.
