Smelling gas from inside cabin

@silvermonster: I've probably filled up at least a few times since my last post. I haven't really had time to check the other items on my list but I've been doing one thing differently and seemed to noticed the smell less or not at all.

I've been basically being really careful when screwing on the gas cap. I think that the cap could've been getting hung up before.

I did notice the strong fumes smell once again so if it wasn't the cap I am feeling like it is something near the fuel tank end of the car. I noticed the smell was way stronger at the back of the car.

I will investigate more...

been dealing with this lately. my o-rings are fine the smell is coming from the wheel well under the gas filler. Zero leaks noticible. The smell is intermittent, drive the car and it goes away, shows up a week later... any thoughts?
