that is a pic of the evap bypass valve

i went to honda and told them i wanted a purge solenoid thinking thats what it was called but the purge solenoid is another part of the evap system.

went a picked up the part today and found out it was something different, instead of it going to cost 108$ its now 142$

i really like the car but im not interested in throwing money at it
maybe you bought the wrong car? Civic? Accord? Kia? lol

Had the sputtering, stalling condition twice. Solved it twice. Going to post in S2000 talk.

Here is his fix- https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=515674

It may help some, but I do not have that little slit in my TB leading to my MAP sensor. My Map sensor is mounted in a dummy TB:

lol ^^ Honda tech's are retarded usually. They rarely see an S2000 so they are clueless as to problems such as this. Take it back tell them to run the procedure to check the IAC(Idle Air Control) and to also check the evaporator purge solenoid. Tell them to put on paper what they find, when you get that paper download the service manual find all the specifications and check to see if they actually did what you told them to do. If not go somewhere else or call and complain.
I'll take it back in and have them run those checks. I have a Honda shop service manual that a service writer gave me when they updated their shop with new ones. It was still in the wrapper. It's come in handy. I've had no complaints with these guys in the past.

Thanks

wtf is that? lol Where is your throttle?
My map passageway is open since my intake was bored out a little too much. But it could help some people, who knows.
