Straight from the manual pg. 318: Block both upper and lower ports in the throttle body with your fingers while engine is running. Does your engine stall? Yes- replace IAC valve. No-Check for vacuum leaks, test the throttle body section 11-122

I ran some Gumout fuel injector cleaner through my system and the car has not hesitated since. I'm waiting for a really hot day to test it out entirely to make sure but so far so good. Kinda makes sense the injectors could be dirty and cause sticking under hotter conditions. Shoulda thought of that a long time ago, going to run one more bottle just for good measure and see what happens.

I have recently had these problems with my car. I've been CTSCd since about March but it didn't start happening until after I went to Church's Automotive to have my FPR adjusted. Todd there said I was running too lean so he opened my FPR all the way. Ever since then I've been having these problems with the sputtering below 2500rpm, and today for the first time my engine completely stalled while in neutral.

I also have a CEL for running rich. Could this all be from that I'm running too rich? I'm about to go clean my IACV and go from there.

tried the link above cleaning out that little passage way and it wasn't dirty. Took the whole tb off and cleaned all the gunk out to no avail.

I swapped my injectors for ones with 18k miles on them, I still have not fixed the problem. So far I have changed to Spoon TB with new MAP and TPS, New IAC, New EVAP Purge Solenoid, swapped primary 02 for one with lesser miles also. I am going to try to block off all the vacuum lines to see what happens.

I kinda wish I found this thread before buying my S2k.

My car wasn't accelerating rough, but it definitely had a rough idle and got so bad that it started shutting itself off. This is all during hot temps outside. Anyway, the dealership has replaced the injectors with new ones, and my air pump under the bumper was bad, so they have replaced that as well.

I don't have the car back yet, but the technician said my car is running perfect now and idles great. The car hasn't died on him, so I hope my S2k problems are over.

Once I get the car back, I think I am going to clean out that MAP sensor passageway just to be cautious. It makes me wonder if my S2000 had a ticking time bomb that just waited to go off at 68,500 miles.
