Default Squeaking from the rear

Hey fellow S2kers,

Whenever I slowly go over a speed bump, the rear end seems to squeak. I can hear it over my left shoulder while driving. It sounds like its coming from the frame or body but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

It could be dry / dirty sway bar bushings. It is probably easier to just pull the busings off 1 at a time, clean and lubricate them, and put them back on than it would be to diagnose it. If that isn't it, then it could be a bad ball joint, damper, or suspension bushing.

Thanks Gernby,

Wow- I hoped it wouldn't be that complicated. Thanks so much for the info.
