Default Stalling out when clutch is engaged!

I have a 2003 s2k with a motor and clutch with only 24k Miles on them, the car has 47k miles on it. Keep in mind I drive mostly highway and I do somewhat tend to drive her a lil hard.

A certified Honda tech who was referred to me by Honda rebuilt the motor and did the clutch instal at his private shop. The clutch is an ACT and the flywheel was resurfaced

Sounds like the MAP to me. Pretty common problem on the s2k. Look up and try the MAP whack or replace it with the new version.

I tried the ''map whack'' technique, though I did not zip tie it...when I suggested to Honda that it could be a bad MAP sensor they pretty much said it was not that, but I'm not sure if there is a procedure to test for it.

Mine does the exact same thing after I've been driving it for a WHILE except it has never completely shutoff. It will rumble for a couple seconds then go back to normal idle. It worried the crap out of me for a couple weeks then I asked a couple S guys around the area and they had seen the exact thing at some point or another. Seems like it only does it when Im doing a lot of city and stop and go driving though. Mine hasnt done it in a couple months though it seems to have gone away so who knows.

check your crankshaft end play. It could be that the thrust washers were installed backwards. when you step on the clutch it forces the crank against the block. There are slots for lubrication on the bearings, if installed backwards, it could me changing the block. I hope its not for you. Good luck
