this one lights up too, similar to the hazard button beside it. You need a new bulb on that one, but it is easy to change.

I pulled the dashboard out last night and removed all of the bulbs including the start button bulb. I think I had about 6 bulbs burned out, but I'm replacing all of them at one time, don't want to do this job too many times. The dashboard removal was actually easier than I thought it would be, not to hard at all, and it doesn't take too long either. In addition to the dashboard bulbs I removed the ones in the cruise control switch and defroster switch, as they were burned out as well - neither lit up at night. So I'm doing my dashboard, start button, and 2 switches. My roof button and hazard button light up okay right now in the centre console so I won't mess with them.

I wanted to try the LED bulb replacement but I don't want to order them on line and wait for them and deal with the polarity issue and different lengths. The LED's do look nice and should last much longer though. I just ordered all new OEM bulbs from the dealer, they will be here on Monday and I can get it all buttoned up after that. Looking forward to seeing all of my switches again.
