Default Starting Issue

It's only been a couple days since the last time I drove my '01 S2k, and somehow now absolutely nothing happens when I push the start button. All lights come on, but don't drain or turn off when I hit start. The battery is good, the clutch interlock switch checked good, and the connection to my start button is solid. The car doesn't even attempt to turn over, and there is no audible click when I hit start. There doesn't seem to be an issue with the immobilizer either, and I've tried disconnecting the battery for a bit.

It has 67k miles, and this is the first time it hasn't started without good reason. I can't seem to find an ignition system diagram to help trace through, but if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Successfully push started the car, so that narrows it down a bit more.

The first thing I'd do is clean the battery posts and the inside of the cable ends. The auto parts stores sell a "battery brush" for this purpose for under $10; any wire brush will work on the posts, the inside of the terminals is a bit more work. I've done the job in a pinch with a penknife. Just get the metal bright and shiney, then reinstall the cable ends.

This may or may not eliminate your problem; if not, you've spent little to no money and not much time eliminating the possibility.

How do you know the battery is good? Did you have it tested?

Push start it and take it to advanced auto and have them do the battery/alternator/starter multi-meter test. I have had a similiar problem on my integra, everything checked out but then found my relay was burnt to shit from the heat which gave me no audible clicking sound when trying to start. After checking just about every part in the the starting system, I pulled my start button, and it failed a continuity check when pressed. This has to be the culprit. Thank you for the ideas.
