Default Tapping after rebuild

Hi
I've done a major rebuild of my engine , it Ran fine on first start up then started to rattle on second start up and after
Engine has new pistons, crank checked and polished and shells gapped, cams and valve train replaced with newer but second hand cams and followers.
Re Checked tappets and they are fine
Swapped TCT for the original that was fine and back again for the one that came with the replacement cams and valve trains and makes the same noise with both.
Removed alternator belt just to make sure nothing there was causing the noise.
I appreciate it's near on impossible to diagnose from a video but if anyone has any ideas at all I'd be really grateful, here's the link to a 1 minute clip

Cheers
Robert

It sounds like rod knock, have you checked your clearances?

Checked compression and all cyls are 190psi (not that that actually indicates an awful lot!)

re-re checked valves, rotated engine several times to keep an eye on all the followers and all *look* ok

will a stethoscope help identify where it's coming from do you think?

Yes. Stethescope. A real one. Not a ghetto socket extension or big screwdriver.
