TCT question

I have seen many s2ks, with bad tcts, at less that 10k miles. It's not the chain, or slides. It's a design flaw.
Sandblasting the worm gear will fix it.
you can do everything brand new, and have the noise return in the same amount of miles it took for it to go bad.
OR sandblast and be done!

Does this fix the problem forever or does the noise eventually return even with sandblasted gears ?
I'm on my first replacement TCT, the noise has yet to return but it is something that everyone will eventually face at some point in time. Thanks for the info on this.

What is sandblasting, and where can I have it done? Sorry, never had to 'sandblast' anything before.
