Default Test Pipe?

I have heard rumors that a test pipe on the stock exhaust shows reasonable difference... anyone else agree? Also Megan Racing 4-2-1 Header? Opinions on these? what kind of a test pipe should i look for to me i would think they are alll about the same?

Spend some time searching and reading.

What to expect? 5whp - 4ft/tq, smelly and black soot on your rear bumper.

Megan Header - 3-4 Hp, but there is no dyno on it.

Test pipes are made in different sizes, 60mm, 63mm, 70mm

Resonated and non-resonated.

Berk has a BERK HF (High flow) Cat as well

would you recommend a high flow cat over a straight test pipe? woull the high flow cat keep black soot off my bumper?

the high flow cat will make the black soot less, I have a stock exhaust on a berk technology test pipe and I love it, it sounds great like a 350z or g35 but the tips do become a little darker, to fix that problem just wash it and put a coat of wax on it and you will be fine, as for the bumper I have berlina black so I can't really see it but when i wash it or wax it I don't see it or feel it.

Test pipe will give you a yellowish/black soot on your bumper. I had the Berk testpipe for about 4-5 months and it gradually got worse and worse. I see that you have a Silverstone so you'll definitely see some marks on your bumper.
