Default Test Pipe Question?..

Does installing a testpipe increase or decrease gas mileage? i've heard it decreases because it causes the extra fuel to be thrown into the engine but it also allows for better flow freeing up power sooo... anyone have any insights? thanks

more flow might lean out a little, thats why u gain a little power. and i been running a test pipe for 40k miles and i still get over 300 miles on a tank.
