Default Thottle Body

I am thinking of purchasing a Slunk2PRO TB. This thing I question is they eliminate the water lines to it. Does that cause any problems with the engine if you do that?

The lines are used to keep the TB from icing in seriously cold conditions. I would just as soon go with a spoon TB or have your stock one bored and replace the TPS thats what spoon does. This way you know it will fit back on your car without a hassle at all. Careful when removing those lines they drip all over your serpentine belt and alternator if you arent careful

They claim 3 to 5. The stock is 62.5mm & the Skunk is 68mm.

Where do you get a 70mm Butterfly plate (not sure if that's the proper name)?

Spoon says like 4-6 or something like that, i strictly notice maybe a little better throttle response and the ear dyno maybe hears a few more horses but that is usually placebo. The throttle response is definitely nicer. Im sure if you went to a machine shop and asked them to make your TB Xmm that they would put a new butterfly in it for you too. However, boring it out is only as good as the flow of your Manifold. If the manifold is only 62.5mm to match the stock TB its just going to bottleneck the air anyway. Just my .02 but if you are trying to make N/A power then a TB is probably not the way to go if you still have the stock unmolested manifold.

I simply replaced mine because the TPS went and spoon was cheaper than honda as honda does not offer just the TPS.

I am looking for bettter thottle response. It is way to hard to make really noticable gains in HP. I am just not sure if I went with the Skunk what I would need to do about the water line, as the skunk does not use it.

it will gain you a little... like it was mentioned like 3-5hp but it makes your throttle response quicker! a good way to go is contact proflow and they will bore your stock TB to whatever you want... there is a wait however... if you remove your TB and ship it to them you can jump the line since you do not have to wait on the shop core... OR you can buy my TB in my FS thread and send it in to be bored that way you dont have to wait and once you get it back you can swap from 62.5mm to however big you went in like 10min...
