Throtle Angle / Position Sensor - common to other hondas?
Can anyone tell me if the Throtle Angle / Position Sensor on an s2000 is the same part fiited to any other hondas - mine's been broken - and the local honda dealer tells me he can only supply a new one as part of the whole throtle body assembly cost approx

Yes, it is the same as other models, ALL other models AFAIK.
The throttle bodies also swap, though I believe the S2k's is the largest save for maybe the ITR or Prelude Type S. The Prelude will also have a thermo valve on the bottom that you will need to remove and plate off.
If you can locate one at a salvage yard, you can drill out the rivets and bolt it in place on your TB. Not easy, but much cheaper.
Are you sure yours is bad? They generally don't go bad.
