Just to follow up... Since I have my new TCT in place, is there a problem with Mobile One synthetic oil? I have been using Mobile 1 since I first bought the car, but I read a thread that suggested that this oil is bad for the TCT.
Is there any truth to this?

Many owners have shifted away from Mobil One due to the TCT problem.
It's a good oil but it appears the S2000 TCT just doesn't last with it.

That fear of the unknown is always present when delving into the S2000 for the first time.
Castrol has taken me over a million miles with out problems. You could probably use a high mileage oil.
I'm currently and for the last 10 years running Amsoil 10/30 in the S.
