Tranny Install
Well i tried to search and find some info. on the question i am about to ask, and i could not find anything.
Well today i was very happy i though i was going to get to crank my new motor and take my car out for a drive.
Well i got the clutch in no big deal there, and then it began. I was trying to wrestle the transmission into place but it would not push into place. So i backed it out and checked the clutch, and checked around the housing for anything in the way but nothing. So i call up my buddies and they come and try to push it into place but it would not move any more. So battled with it for a couple hours and made no progress.
Any ideas?

I had a little trouble getting mine in too. Just wiggled and moved it arround for a while and it finally went. If I remember correctly, there are splines on the tranny input shaft that have to line up.
