If you can't get or order MTF from Honda, then try some of the other manufacturer dealerships (Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Toyota, etc.) and see if they sell MTF. If you have no luck there, then try a 75W-85 or 75W-90 GL-4 gear oil. If no luck there, then try a 5W-30 or 10W-30 motor oil.

mtf is basically a 10w30- 10w40 fluid. The mtf has more additives and u can use oil especially when u gonna change it often.

Honda recommends 10w/30 as a temporary replacement. Perhaps this is the oil you should use until you can acquire the permenent oil. Check into farm equipment lubes (tractor, ATV etc. from Honda).

Get really drunk one night, I mean blacked out of your mind and save 2 quarts of piss. You will be shifting like speed racer the next day after you put it in.
