Transmission problems
If you have had the TSB for the 1-2 grind done (once, twice....) or a new transmission...and have had the problem return, would you please e-mail me privately? I need to back up my position with the problems that I have had, that they may/probably will reoccur??
Thanks,

Most problems after the TSB has been performed (and on MY'01's) has been traced back to the cockpit. The S2000 shifts differently then a variety of other cars. I did here of one that continued to fail after the TSB was done and as I recall this was do to reidual damage done by the grinding which was not replaced when the TSB was done (i.e. worn gears as I recall). If it feels notchy, particullarly in the cold, you may want to switch to an aftermarket fluid (GL4). This has worked wonders for others.

Let me tell you how mine and one other that I am very familiar with here in Texas work. Before the TSB it would grind on 1-2 shifts when the box got hot.. easy to reproduce on the first couple of shifts on a hot day after a high speed run on the highway. When the box is cool it works just fine.
After the TSB the symptoms are exactly the same.
Same driver when the box is cool or hot, except it only grinds when hot.
Come to Texas and trace some grinds back to the cockpit. I dare you!
