Yea I'll report back in. I'm also gonna send in a sample of the 1605 LE fluid that's in my differential.
Even better, I have that fluid in my differential too, I normally would have sent in a used sample of it but I barely drove the car last season so I am going to leave it in for one more season before I sample it.
Yea I have gone about 13000 miles on this fluid too. I have been using LE 1605 for the past 44,000 miles without any issue, but I'm just curious to see how good/bad the fluid is.

Most folks will 'push it' because honda doesn't have a service interval for the tranny of 10K. If I recall it's 30K along with the diff.

Transmission shift quality is 95% clutch fluid, clutch adjustment, and input spline cleanliness. I have cured endless notchy s2ks with any or a combination of the three.

Thanks Rob-2, I have forgotten about the recommended intervals for tranny and diff. as I change them both once a year regardless of mileage, it's cheap and easy maintenance for me. I'm not pushing that on anyone, it's just what I feel like doing. I would imagine the oem tranny fluid would shear down pretty thin after 30k miles though .

I feel somewhere between 10-15K it drops off. I tend to agree. Cheap and easy to keep the tranny smooth.
