Oh well. Old clutch is off, really about nothing left on the disk.

I removed the upper starter bolt. It was easy to put back in. I took one of those flexible picker-upper thingies with the fingers/claws on the end. I gripped the hex head with the fingers, and was able to screw the bolt in finger-tight that way.

If you've got one of these things, give it a try. It might save you a couple of minutes.

Anyone know the torque specs for the exedy hyper single pressure plate bolts? Same as OEM?

just bumping this back up to the top... I am pulling my clutch/pp out right now and the bolts holding the pp down look different than ones I have seen before... this is prob. a stupid question but you guys know everything soooooo... what size are they and do I need a special socket to remove them? Thanks so much!

You need a 12 point socket. It is not special, it is common.

If only the exedy PP bolts were 10mm. I had to go get a special hex socket in order to torque them down.

UPDATE I HAVE THE TRANSMISSION OUT AND NOW AM NOT SURE HOW TO REMOVE THE STOCK FLYWHEEL AS I DO NOT HAVE THE $100 RING GEAR HOLDER TOOL THAT HONDA CALLS FOR... WHAT DO YOU GUYS USE?
