Default Trunk Lock Actuator

Good morning S2ki,

I've been having issues with my trunk lid lock working intermitted. Sometimes it works with the key fob and glove compartment button. I’m trying to buy a new trunk actuator for a MY00; however, they are discontinued for the AP1. Will an AP2 trunk lock actuator be a direct swap for my s2000? I’ve check the fuse and it’s still good. I also tried searching on the forum and couldn’t find a direct answer to my question. Thank you

You may have a break in the wire harness, right where the wires hinge for the trunk. I have seen this a few times.

Never seen a bad actuator yet.
