^^^ Yeah, I loosend the nuts first, put on the brace, then lifted the front of the car until the brace went down all the way, put on the nuts, then lowered the car and tightened nuts. I didn't torque them (don't have a torque wrench yet), but I doubt that was the issue. I couldn't get the brace to go down anymore, it was flush with the tops of the towers. The only thing I can see that would cause it to not close is the "V" brace on the underside of the hood hitting the brace, so I'm assuming it must have changed. Anyone successfully install this on an 06?

i just picked up my '06 and have the Ti bar still in the box. i wonder if you loosen the bolts on the end of the bar and rotate the Ti bar slightly if that will solve your problem. let us know. i can install mine this week, but would like to see if yours is going to fit before i attempt.

good luck.

Which is why I am waiting for AEM to come out with a V2 specifically for the MY06.
Why? Hondata is already working on the '06 ECU.

You are confusing two issues--an intake and an EMS. Both the AEM V2 and AEM EMS (current versions) are incompatible with the MY06 S2000.

And yes, Hondata is working on the MY06 ECU, and they are using my car. Details cannot be released at this time.

not good. i left a message with the vendor i purchased from to see if they have heard of any fitment issues on the '06's. i will post up if i get a reply.

any pictures of the fitment on yours might help diagnose the problem. take a few and post up if you can. if you don't have a picture host site, email the pics to me and i can host them.

A lot of things are still compatible (i.e., same engine, brakes, rear diff, etc.).
