Default VAFC experts help needed...

I am thinking of getting one but besides increasing power is it true you can adjust when vtec engages? if its true is there really going to be a big difference if vtec engaged at 4.5k instead of 6.5k rpms? thanks.

The main benefit I've gotten from adjusting the VTEC engagment is making the transition smoother. This means that in corners when I'm at traction limits I don't have to worry nearly as much about the VTEC transition upsetting my car balance as I did before.

The lowest I ever set the disengagement was 5400, with engagement at 5600. On the street i keep it at 5800on/5600off.

If you still have your warranty left, you might want to consider a harness from me! I provide a harness with leads for the VAFC... that way you don't have to cut your original harness and lose your warranty. Besides that it is only about $20 more than having a tuner install it for you.

Sorry to be a salesman... I just have a bunch of these left....
