VAFCII installed and....

VAFCII installed and....
I just installed the VAFC and will be tuning it in about a week. I haven't touched any of the settings like people recommend. But driving my car, i've noticed that i have some power fluctuations tough the power band during WOT. Is this normal before getting it tuned and not touching any of the settings in the settings menu?

I'm using the Frog VAFCII harness. I just checked the connections, they're all tight.
I went though the VAFC setup again. I've got the following setting in ETC mode:
Sensor No 6, 6
Cyl: 4
Thr: arrow up and right
V/T: 1
And the rest on the list I left alone.
