im not sure how incorrectly adjusted valved would lead to burnt oil out the back of the exhaust? how long did you run it for?

make sure your feeler gauge is 90 degree angle. This way you don't have faulty reading. If check engine light comes on later down the road then I'm sure it's misfiring. I'd redo the job and check the clearance again.

You did 1,3,4,2 ?

Are you sure you aren't just seeing normal condensation smoke from the exhaust? A valve adjustment shouldn't cause smoke from the exhaust...

maybe the smoke is from humidity? so smoke wouldnt be a sign of a bad job on the exhaust side? i only adjusted a few exhaust valves because they werent off much. The intake side was worst. Yes i did 1,3,4,2 and used 90 degree feelers. Only ran the car at idle for about 15 mins bc i was a little worried. The car is alot quieter but i feel like i can still hear one valve ticking

make sure your not confused with the injectors, which you may be hearing now over your quiet valves. make sure you do it on a cold engine, always make sure the cam lobes are pointing out and away from each other on the cylinder your adjusting (billman easy trick)

yep followed all that. just looked into the pipes and there is condensation iside but iver never seen them smoke like that before so i will keep n eye on it. Doesnt sound like injectors. Its louder under the car. i made sure for exhaust that the .012 could not fit at all and that .010 fit with normal drag.

I agree. I'm having the same issue with still hearing one valve loud. It's quite annoying. These Honda motors are new to me. I'm used to Nissan. So everything sounds loud and bad....

i would double check all my work just so I had no doubts in my mind. better to be safe than sorry. This is one area where you want to triple check everything and be OCD.
