Valvetrain noise
I recently had my valves adjusted by an S2k mechanic and the car does feel better. Heres the thing that's worrying me:
When the car is idling, the valves are ticking louder than normal...but once you give it just a little gas the noise goes away and the engine sounds smooth. Could this be an oil pump or oil filter problem? ANY IDEAS? HELPPP

Sounds like your timing chain tensioner. The throttle blip gives the oil pressure enough tension to make the noise go away. I'm surprised Bill didn't pick up on the noise.
Oil level where it should be?
