I think that CMis2k is pissed off at you because you were bragging about your success at your age. Do you realize how little anyone cares about what damn age you are? At 17 years old I enlisted in the US Navy not only to fight for my country, but to help support my family. Try to look at things from a different perspective, it will say something for your maturity.

That being said, I think this has gone a bit too far. Nobody asked you how old you were, you just wanted to rub it in everyone's faces. As for CMis2k, I don't think that it is worth it to try and teach him a lesson here...try to settle things in a pm if you can. Not only that, you are just as bad coming out and stating your financial status, height, weight..etc...I know that you were just making a comparison, but I have seen other posts from you, and know that this is not the best of you. There is a time and a place for everything, and on a thread discussion superchargers just isn't it.

I pulling the comments and deleting them as of now, I have seen some other little shits like this and he is not what I expect to see in this forum.

He actually has 17 in his signature. Sucess is not mentioned in the signature.

when I was 17, I was working every weekend on a '82 280Zx hard top. I was proud of being able to get that car at that age, I understand that enthusiasm a person has.

I live in a nice area were there are about 4-5 S2000 parked in high school parking lots and it just fires my rear end up.

Hey, a 280zx is definitely a nice car at 17! Don't sell yourself short bro. At 17, I bought a 1990 Dodge Shadow, with get this...aftermarked floor mats (walmart, extra-plush), and a silver colored muffler tip. She was dead sexy! My stereo, worth far more than the car, was the only thing nice about that ride. Yet I washed and waxed it every week, and I bought tire glaze by the case. I too know what its like starting with nothing and making something out of it! I think that it really does help us to appreciate things more having worked our way to where we are today.

You know, when I was a senior in High School (1995), a kid 2 years younger than me pulled into the parking lot with a brand new Supra TT. I thought that was so unfair since his dad just bought it for him, and he did not have to work for it. Maybe one day though, if my son works really hard, I would like to buy him a nice car...so long as it is not a Ford!

getting back on the subject. As far as forced induction. I am going with a custom turbo set up from a reputable, but new import tuner in Dallas that can fabricate and install everything in house for less than 6K, I just have to live without my car for a couple weeks.

This is just a quote, that I have not completely followed through with it, as far as the build up plans and specs. I will be meeting with all parties that say they can make it happen at the beginning of next month.

I have seen a 240sx that they built up and ran 550+ at the wheels with a KA turbo, revhard manifold and 30 psi on the stock block, 8.5:1 pistons, aem ems, custom front mount intercooler, piping and of course the rest of the items necessary to make the set up run.

1/4 mile times of 10.8 street legal all interior in the car.

Damn, thats quite a set up!

Is this shop committed to helping you out with tuning the set-up for the long run? I do know that turbos require a good amount of maintenance and tuning, though I have never used one in any of my applications...just word of mouth.

So are they going to tune your system with the AEM EMS as well? Are you doing internals, or are they going to fab a kit for more of an 8 psi bolt-on application?

off the subject again and ruining the thread, but the 280zx had the stock stereo that worked when it wanted to.

Last year I traded the '95 mustang GT Convt in for a 2001 civic that i still have. I will not ever buy ford ever, ever again. The air conditioner stopped working the day I traded and the head light assembly stop working. 73K miles day of trade.

didn't dodge make a turbo shadow?
now that may have been worth it.
1st car was a 1982 dodge charger, 2.6L I-4, the car was the size of a celica/mustang of the same age.
