120's was after 30min of run around time on the street. I was using a PGM-FI tester to monitor PCM datastream. My first snapshot (data log) The IAT was108-113, then after 2 more 3rd gear pulls the IAT went to 124. The highest IAT I recorded was 138, After about 4 snapshot runs, 45 minutes or so of driving time. These IAT's are great compared to my friends JRSC Civic , whose IAT goes from 160-195, and take forever to drop.

I'm not using EMS a the moment, Still with Vortech FMU and Timing controller. I been having detonation problems and was snapshotting the Data to try and figure if the knock sensor/stock PCM were pulling out any timing.

Ahh, for some reason thought I remembered you were running AEM.

After I get things tuned better and get some time to experiment I'm going to compare using the 1023 filter and the 350z filter. Just haven't had the time yet...

I did some more reasearch, and KN doesn make a Drycharger wrap for the 1023 filter. Heres some pics of the Drycharger installed:

Nice!

So, in your opinion, what's the best setup of the ones you've tried?

I really like the bigger 1023 filter with the drycharger. No holes to drill, no tiny airbox wedged in the corner, rubbing holes in the filter screen. I'm still not done messing with it, I'll end up bulding a box or divider around the filter to keep the hot air from the cooling fan off the filter. I tried to sell my old Vortech filter a while back, but nobody wanted it...

I'm debating using aluminium or fiberglass for the air box, I 'll eventually get an idea in my head and build something else.

Fibreglass would be my vote. It is a much better insulator than aluminium

That's why I was going to go with glass, I can make a 1 time mold out of styrofoam. Mold the part, then melt out the styrofoam with brake cleaner.
