How do you know your oil pressure is ok? did you check it with a gauge? I'm learning more and more no VTEC = major bearing damage and the engine doesnt have the psi to lock the rockers.

Number one causes are dirty air filter and bad MAP sensor.

make sure you carpet is not stuck up behind the gas pedal too
nah the carpet is fine lol but the car dose have stumble problems at red lights sometimes so im gonna try the map whack mod to see if it helps with the car, im also gonna clean the throttle body and other parts of the intake to take out any carbon build up cause those are common problmes
yo chris bring the car by ill help you get it running better, or i can swing by your house . but dont sleep on those cadillacs those northstar motors have a lot of torque and pull nice on the turnpike.

i dont move the car untill it is fully warmed up so i know that isent the issue and about 2 weeks ago i found out about how to engage it with full throtle, i usually put the pedal to the floor at about 5000rpm, but even then the car still wont engage, for example i raced a friend of mine that has a cadillac devill, we did a 40 roll witch puts me at like 5200 rpm we beeped took of and getting to 6500rpm the vtec still hadent engaged i styaed racing i beat him but only by a bumper, my oil was fine the next morning everything seemed fine, its not the only time during a race or even for a cruse that it dosent engage, also im not one of those people that pop vtec every 5 minutes so there isent much abuse on the motor, i do have 112,xxx miles but its mostly highways miles, ive been looking at ways to clean the solenoid to see if there is a difference
Modern cars are not best warmed up at idle. Drive it normally until it warms up.
Funny cause thats what my former Audi's manual said. Its better to drive it very nice to warm up rather than letting it sit, but idk that wouldn't make sense personally since its going up in RPMs while the oil is still cold and not as.... watery? lol

If cleaning the screen or the solenoid contacts doesn't help, try testing the solenoidal itself with a amp meter, if no luck there give it a nice tap with the back of a ratchet. AP1's especially have had reports of v-tec not working due to bad solenoid. If none of these suggestions work its a very good possibility that your v-tec solenoid had gone bad

Dont bother, I assure you the result will be no change at all.

In hundreds of s2ks, I have never cleaned a throttle body or intake in all my services. With that, there is never a problem I couldnt solve with a different fix.

And unless you engine bearings are coming apart, there will be nothing in the VTEC screen.

well sometimes i feel that the throttle body stayed open as if there was carbon build up stopping it from closing it all the way, and if the vtec screen isent dirty what other reason could vtec not be poping, and what could i use to clean the plug on the solenoid to try and help it and were do i check for the amps on the plug or solenoid side? and if i do check it with an amp meter what should the reading be please give me some more info so that i can do run this test
