Wrong. There is no oil level sensor and no code for low oil level. Don't depend on the "Check engine" light to warn about low oil level.

Don't get me wrong.VTEC code is NOT low oil level code, if the engine don't have enough oil pressure to engage the vtec it will throw a Vtec Malfunction code. that could be the indication of low engine oil level. Regarding oil level, i would trust the dip stick more than anything else.
