Default What is the small plug under the drivers seat?

Hi all,

I'm hoping some of the gurus can chime in! As per the title, what is the small plug that is underneath the drivers seat for? It's on a fairly long cable. I was checking if I'd left anything under my seat and came across it. It seems to pull out to the front of the seat.

Thanks in advance,
Redsands

sounds like the seat belt plug, it will light up (ap1) or light up and chime (ap2) on the dash if your seat belt isnt buckled while moving

its probably for the OEM alarm. It mounts under the drivers seat.

Thanks for the replies! I'm guessing the previous owner wasn't big on seatbelts as it was unplugged! I'll just plug it back in as I sometimes need a reminder.

Anyone know what the big green security box is under the seats? I took out my 05 seats, which didn't have that box and put in older ap1 seats that did have a big green security box in addition to the seatbelt plug.

no really? why do the older seats have it and not mine, the only plug I've got under my seat is the seatbelt warning one, and it seems like there could be another 2 plugs for the other boxes under the seat.
