What is TSB
Technical service bulletin, actually. For legal purposes, it's not a recall, although it's handled essentially the same way by the dealers (they do the work and get reimbursed by Honda). TSBs can cover anything from fairly major/involved upgrades, such as the clutch disk and synchro TSBs, to what amounts to just little helpful hints about maintenance, like the "pour hot water on the plastic window" TSB. Dealers often have a fair amount of discretion as to whether they'll acutally agree to perform a TSB on any given car.
Thank you for the great response. Is there a place we can go online to see all the TSB'S for our vehicles? I just purchased a 2001 S2k from the dealer with 8k miles from the previous owner. Not sure what TSB's were done if any. Thanks again
