I just replaced my softtop (AP1) with a new top and i found this piece during reassembly of everything, however i cant recall where it goes.


Im thinking somewhere in the rear.....NOT against the rainguards though.


Any idea?

it goes at the front of the top (near the windshield)...

Go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ look up your car + the part you are trying to get. There are diagrams for each section of the car.

I believe that goes at the very back of the top, inside, between the top material and the nuts that thread onto the studs that stiick through the top.

With the top up, that piece will be touching the windshield frame.

this i know already.


but if u look at ^^^^^ his diagram, its a lot sharper, bigger, and more detailed than those on honda automotive and from the HELMS.

It's from the Helms manual...maybe you have an older manual with a crappy pic? My 2007 manual has this pic in it.
