So I was hearing some ticking sound today from the engine bay during a short drive.. so I popped the hood and saw my Ztec head shield had broken off near the turn of the bracket. The other part of the bracket is still screwed in and not sure how it broke. I was thinking that it could have been from the heat but I would imagine that a heat shield would be able to handle high temperatures lol .

 

Probably a good indication of why they went out of business.

Should've done my research! Don't think Ztec is active on the boards any more but looks like one of the guys got a replacement.
