Good one, Dave. Glad that GPS is safe and secure at home. Is it in a bullet proof/fire proof safe for the ultimate in protection?

I wonder how many people have garage door openers in their car on a visor and then park the car in the driveway?

I have done that but most of the time the cars with the openers are in the garage. When we leave the house for any long period of time we disengage the automatic doors and secure them with a lock. Its a pain when we come home to have to unlock the garage, etc. before rolling the car in but worth the security.
I had a co-worker who had his car broken into while at work.
Much later in the day when he was out there with the glass guy, he realized they had stolen his registration.
The glass guy then asked him if he had a garage remote in the car.
To his horror it was gone.
So they then knew where he lived and had away into his house.
Needless to say he took the afternoon off to go deal with getting new remotes and changing the codes on the garage door opener.

If someone should steal my garage door opener and make it to my house, they're only going to get into my garage.

Even when we're home, the doors are locked. I'm not making it easy for someone to just walk into my home.
If we are both home, the door is generally unlocked. If I'm home alone, sometimes it's locked, sometimes not.
