The Grammys
My wife was a big Manilow fan but not I. But, I'll say one thing, he put on one of best live shows we've seen. We were regulars at a place called Pine Knob and saw live music shows regularly. We had friends there and they said he was one of the biggest (sounds like ricks) with all his demands.
My wife watch the Grammys, but I didn't bother to.
I bought a pc turntable that will convert 45s, 33s, and even 78s to your pc or disc. It comes with two sets of software. One is an easy converter. The other is very similar to a sound studio and allows you to do a zillion things.... fad in, fad out, white, eliminate noise, etc. and I'm still learning that one.

Dave...where did you get that PC turntable? I have a player that will play all of my old records (33s, 45s and 78s), but I'd love to burn them to CDs. I've been thinking for quite awhile about finding someone to do it for me, but didn't really look too hard. Thought it would be very expensive.
^^ I got my iPod working (the software, typically Apple, wants to do things its way, and I don't want it to. Guess who won), and I'm sold.
Forget burning CDs, Deb. Get one of those turntables (I think Hammaker-Schlemmer has one; probably so do Brookstone and such like) and just store your LPs as files on your PC. Then get an iPod or other player.
For iTunes noobs: don't make the mistake I did. Find the "Import Quality" setting and pick what you want. I spent a long time importing things at less than the highest quality, and I'm bummed (not because I can hear the difference, just on principle). Like I said, it's Apple software. HPH
