Nice find. I built the Tamiya 1/10 of the Tyrrell 6 wheeler after attending 1976 Glen race. Love the kit. Tamiya kits and paints were always the best. Like so many really detailed plastic kits it did not survive the passage of time. The current bid for that kit is $90. I also built the winning F1 McLaren of James Hunt by Tamiya for that same year. Like too many plastic models, they just did not hold up over the years. As soon as you started to handle them for dusting, etc. they started falling apart. Although I still have some rare plastic kits in boxes I have no attachment to them. If you don't spend hours building them, what good are they? Just toys never made in boxes. I still love the 1/24th scale but it's a thing of the past. None the less I still have a few dozen that have survived decades.
I built a model of the Mario Andretti John Player Special. Loved that black and gold livery on an F1 car.
I remember that six wheeler Tyrrell. Didn't take long before it got banned.
I also remember the John Player Special. All long gone.
Scoots- I have a few of the larger cars - my plan was to use some 16" or 20" black mdf shelving, maybe paint stripes/curbing on them and attach the models with wire ties. Then mount the shelves at like a 20 degree angle to the wall so my wall would look like a racetrack?
I put shelves up to hold some of the Lego projects but then I built the Saturn V and had to move the shelves to accommodate it (I had to do it twice as I did not remember 'measure twice drill once). The Concord was too big for the shelves so it go its own space above my desk. This doesn't count all of the Lego flowers and Bonsi tree that I have spread around the house.

There’s a company that makes wall mounts for some of the Lego cars. They’re fairly neat.
