While you're ranting, tell them that they need to hire me.
Only if you agree with me on everything

Is it better to be a layoff survivor or one of the RIFd?

(Today I am once again the former)

^No, Debs. I'm a "survivor," FWIW. Sorry for the confusion.

Stratus just had a pretty big RIF today, but the Linux team is untouched (we are strategic for the company's future).

Tom, I'd like to hear more about what you went thruogh. As I recall, you went back to school, didn't you???

I'm freezing here! Spring, where are you? We need to be able to swap music on this site. I have been making CDs for all my friends. I buy them and they get copies (hey... I think I am getting the short end of this deal).
