I'm opposed to gun control (except to the extent that they should be kept out of the hands of convicted criminals and the mentally ill/disabled), I own a number of semi automatic handguns, and I don't support the NRA.

I also think that it should be legal to shoot (only to maim, I'm not inhumane afterall) people who commit blatant acts of stupidity.

No, why waste the energy. If I tag the person, there'll be plenty of forensic evidence to show that he/she was inside the house when the shot was fired.

I caught a couple cat burglars once. He got 5 years and sent to a couple other states after Florida was done with him. She got escorted to the I75 and let go for telling me where our jewelry was. It was amazing how fast she talked when she saw my stun gun on her crotch.
