Ummm - isn't that kinda the point of a controversy?
From the looks of it, this wouldn't be a controversy, this would be a slaughter.

I assume you've figured out how I feel about gun control.

Rob

I have a question for you. I'm assuming you're not a gun fan. If that's the case, would you consider or have you put your boys through a gun safety course just so they know how to safely handle one?

No I have not.

I can't participate much right now, I'm busy at work, but I will comment later.

Just keep in mind that I live in a densely populated urban area. Guns and dense populations don't much get along.

OK...I'd already figured that out, but answer the rest of it....
In birds and mammals the induction is performed by a structure called Hensen's node (no relation to Jim). In fish, the nearly equivalent structure is called the embryonic shield, and in amphibs it's the dorsal lip.

Draft the Bush Twins!

Bush doesn't need to carry guns. He and his band of chicken hawks prefer to put other familes kids in harm's way.

Glocks are nice. I'm an HK guy. His and hers P7 PSPs. and a few other toys.

c'mon Rob - you wanted a little controversy, right?

I've managed to own firearms for 25+ years. Never had to shoot anyone.

Only threatened one guy (he pulled a knife on my friend and I in a movie theater while were were at the urinals) Big mistake. Colt Python > stilletto

OK, I had read about that and thought that might be it. So, is it primary, secondary or tertiary induction....secondary, right?

Hey Lig

I have a collection of 2mm pinfires. Ever seen one of those? Ring guns Key Chain Guns Lapel Guns Watch Guns Pen Guns. I have one that's built into a zippo.

I can't buy rounds anymore except for blanks so I glue a #9 European shot to them. People don't believe they'll go thru 3/4" plywood

Dean, I take the exact opposite stance (surprise). I feel that there were PLENTY of incidents leading up to 9/11, and if we hadn't radically altered our policy towards terrorism, we'd see more of the same VERY SOON. I think it took a very broad view to initiate these new policies.
What broad view is that, lying to the American public and the world at large to start a new war before the "old" war was even finished? What comes next in Bush's broad view, a manufactured crisis in Iran so we can send off troops there too? Purely rhetorical questions as no one is ever going to convince me of Bush's competency or honesty. Hell, unlike most better politicians, Bush wasn't even smart enough to lie about lying once the original lie was exposed. He just changed the "reason" for why we're there, and refuses to this day to admit any errors in judgement on his part.
In any case, I wasn't referring to just the issues of terrorism and Iraq, but his overall performance. Among the numerous other issues, I also have plenty of misgivings about the abilities of a president who sees eye to eye with the likes of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, and allows them access to the White House. The two of them have quite literally gotten fat by feeding on the fears of the poor and ignorant. As far as I'm concerned, those two pompous, lowlife, hate-mongering, medieval hucksters should be flogged in the public square, not granted stature and credibility via photo ops with a president of the United States. But that's just my humble opinion.
